After munching a lot of junk, this time I thought of coming back to my office lifestyle where I used to prefer bland food over spicy food. Keeping this in mind, I started preparation to make oats porridge today. Thanks to my fully loaded refrigerator, I saw this masala inside the fridge and ended up making a yummy dish with no oil or butter! Despite adding all the vegetables, I was still able to make a yummy dish out of the regular bland dish!
Serves: 1
What did I use?
- Oats – 50 grams
- Chopped Onion – 1 small
- Chopped Tomato – 1 small
- Chopped green chili – 1/2 to 1. depending on the taste
- Salt – to taste
- Pav bhaji masala – 1 tablespoon
- Lemon – 1/2
- Water – 2 cups
How did I make it?
- I took a saucepan and added water to it. Once my water started boiling, I added all the vegetables and allowed them to cook for about 3 to 5 minutes. Once semi-cooked, I added salt and pav bhaji masala to the vegetables.
- After giving a mix, I added the oats and mixed it again for about 30 seconds. My next step was to allow the vegetables and the oats to cook completely. Finally, I added lemon juice to the porridge and then served!
- Tada! Oats are ready! ❤️
