It’s been exactly 60 days since I last blogged. For an easy-going person like me, being MIA for so long was not only strange but also weird. Where was she? WHY was she MIA? What did she even do? I’m sure this must be on your mind. Well, I was trying to detox my social media presence and I took a break from the race – the race of moving faster than others, the race of being the “First” one to post, the race of being the #1 in everything!
At first, it seemed a little odd to me. What will people think? will people think I am in depression?! will people think I am not able to handle the pressure? will people think I am going crazy?! – Being honest, I had the same thoughts on my mind. But, don’t all of us need a break? 🙂 While it may be easy for some to go on and on, there may also be people like me, who try to detox themselves and get back stronger!
Now, coming to my results – The first few days were like self-harm! I was thinking why the hell am I doing this! but, with the time passing, I felt a strange sense of happiness within me. I realized that It is NOT a good practice to be productive or available all the time! Despite everything being normal, taking a mental break is important. It not only helps you get mentally fit but also boosts your morale and confidence!
