Stop being toxic in the name of positivity!

STOP IT! Just Stop it!

Humans get emotional. Humans cry over failures. Humans cry over heartbreaks. Humans regret. Humans feel. Humans slip into depression. Humans fall sick. Humans can also be physically healthy but need moral support. Humans can have a mental illness. Humans feel better by sharing their sorrows.

It’s high time we start acknowledging that positivity can also be toxic if spread at the wrong place and at the wrong time.

If you as a human cannot empathize, please do not sympathize and start judging or give false promises of things, which can sometimes never be fixed. It’s okay, to be honest, and rough than be sweet and calm. It’s okay to bring out emotions. It’s NOT okay to compare someone’s sorrows and make them feel bad about their emotions. Every human being is unique and every human has their tolerance level.
If somebody trusts you, listen to them – don’t advice, unless asked. Sometimes, they just want someone to listen and they are not in a position to accept or acknowledge your advice. if someone shares and feels better, let them be. if someone shares and cries, let me cry their heart out.

Like its always said, the bitter truth is much better than a comforting lie. likewise, sometimes, accepting things the way they are is way better than trying to find positivity in everything and calling yourself an optimistic.

I completely agree that it’s better to be an optimistic person, but sometimes, let the emotions flow and let the thoughts go against gravity. Let the feelings come. Let the feelings go. Accept things the way they are, cry your heart out and let that load go…

Being a positive person is a boon. If you are a positive person, god bless you! if you are a person who is asked for moral support, give moral support, but please do not try to be positive about everything. Listen, leave the things the way they are, and empathize as much as you can. Assure that things are not good, but will get better over time.

To see things from a new phase, it is very important to let go of the existing load for the new ray of hope to enter your life.
