Beauty and wellness | DIY Instant Glow Face Scrub

Photo by Park Street on Unsplash

Last-minute outings can be fun but they can turn into a disaster when your skin is not ready for it. Here’s an instant DIY face scrub that will make your skin feel soft and fresh! This scrub will also leave your skin glowing in less than 20 minutes! All you need is

  • Fresh cream – 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar crystals – 1 teaspoon
  • Ice cubes – 2

How did I make it?

  • I simply mixed cream with sugar and massaged my face in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions for 5 minutes. I then allowed the scrub to stay on my face for 10 minutes and then used ice cubes to remove the scrub off my face. If ice cubes are tough to handle, then you can replace ice cubes with cold water to remove the scrub off the face.
  • To complete my DIY treatment, I then used a thin layer of skin lightening gel and serum to remove the greasy effect and to remove the odor of the scrub. The gel and serum have to be washed off with cold water after leaving it for 5 minutes.
  • Also, remember NOT to use a face wash or soap at least for 6 hours after application for best results!
Do try it out and let me know your experience in the comments section!
